THR is reporting this morning that James Marsden has signed on to star opposite Russell Brand in I Hop. A CG/live action hybrid comedy about an out of work slacker (Marsden) who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny (voiced by Brand) and has to take care of him while he recovers.

Hmmm, Is this supposed to be a kids comedy or a weird drugs trip?

There are no more details on the project at the moment, other than the director will be Alvin and the Chipmunks director Tim Hill. Someone who obviously now has experience of live action merged with CG.

So from the very little I’ve heard about this film, will I be looking out for it? I doubt it.
